Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the CoreBuilt PCs website and all services provided by CoreBuilt PCs, including custom PC builds, repairs, diagnostics, and related services. By using this website or requesting services, you agree to these terms.

Services Offered

CoreBuilt PCs provides custom prebuilt desktop computers, to-order custom-built desktop computers, PC upgrades, diagnostics, and repair services based on customer requests and agreed-upon specifications.

Custom-built systems are designed and assembled specifically for each customer and are not mass-produced or sold as standardized retail products. Component selection, system configuration, and performance targets are determined through consultation and agreement with the customer prior to build or service.

Repair and diagnostic services are performed based on the symptoms described by the customer and the condition of the system at the time of service. While every effort is made to accurately identify and resolve issues, not all problems may be immediately diagnosable or fully repairable due to hardware failure or system complexity.

Pricing & Quotes

All pricing provided by CoreBuilt PCs is based on current component availability, market pricing, and the scope of work discussed at the time of the quote. Because computer hardware prices and availability can change rapidly, quotes are valid for a limited time and may be subject to adjustment if parts become unavailable or pricing changes before components are ordered.

Final pricing is confirmed with the customer before any parts are purchased or work begins. No build or service will proceed without customer approval of the final configuration and total cost.

For to-order custom PC builds, payment may be required in full or in part before components are purchased. This ensures parts can be secured at the agreed-upon pricing and prevents delays due to market availability.

Build fees, diagnostic fees, and service charges are included in the final quoted price and are separate from individual component costs. These fees cover professional assembly, system configuration, testing, and labor associated with the requested services.

If a customer chooses to cancel or significantly change a custom build after new components have been purchased from standard retail or distributor sources, or after procurement efforts have begun, CoreBuilt PCs will refund the purchase price of those components to the customer, less any additional non-refundable costs incurred, including shipping fees, travel expenses related to part procurement, and any applicable restocking fees. Any remaining balance will be returned to the customer once all applicable costs are accounted for.

If components were purchased from non-returnable or limited-return sources, including online marketplaces or private sellers, and a full refund is not possible, the customer will receive the components for which full payment was provided. In such cases, CoreBuilt PCs is not responsible for refunding the cost of those components beyond any recoverable amounts.

Any changes to component selection, performance goals, or service scope requested after a quote has been approved may result in a revised price. CoreBuilt PCs will communicate any pricing changes before proceeding with additional work or purchases.

Parts Availability & Substitutions

Component availability can change rapidly due to supplier stock levels, manufacturer discontinuations, and market conditions. While CoreBuilt PCs makes every effort to secure the exact components listed in an approved build configuration, specific parts may occasionally become unavailable before purchase or during the procurement process.

If a component becomes unavailable, CoreBuilt PCs will notify the customer and recommend equivalent or better alternatives based on performance, reliability, and compatibility. No substitutions will be made without customer approval unless the substitute is functionally equivalent and necessary to complete an agreed-upon build in a timely manner.

Any approved substitutions will be documented and reflected in the final system configuration. Pricing adjustments resulting from substitutions will be communicated and approved by the customer before proceeding with the build.

Warranty & Support

CoreBuilt PCs provides a limited workmanship and system performance guarantee on all completed systems. Each system is tested prior to delivery to ensure proper operation at the time of completion.

New systems are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of delivery or pickup for any issues related to normal use and system operation. This guarantee does not cover damage or failures caused by misuse, physical damage, improper handling, lack of basic maintenance, unauthorized modifications, excessive overclocking, or allowing third parties to modify or repair the system.

Systems or builds that include used components are covered by a 60-day functional guarantee on those used parts, subject to the same exclusions for misuse, physical damage, improper handling, or unauthorized modifications. This guarantee applies only to the used components supplied by CoreBuilt PCs and does not extend to other system parts or software.

Manufacturer warranties apply to new components and are handled according to the policies of the component manufacturer. CoreBuilt PCs does not provide extended manufacturer warranties unless explicitly stated in writing. Assistance may be provided to help facilitate manufacturer warranty claims when applicable, but final warranty decisions are made by the manufacturer.

Support does not cover issues caused by software changes, operating system corruption, malware, driver conflicts, user-installed hardware, or modifications made after delivery. Any services required to resolve such issues may be subject to additional service charges.

Damage caused by improper transportation, drops, spills, or environmental factors such as excessive dust, heat, or moisture is not covered under warranty.

Repairs & Diagnostics

Diagnostic and repair services are performed based on the symptoms described by the customer and the condition of the system at the time of service. While CoreBuilt PCs makes every reasonable effort to accurately identify and resolve issues, some problems may be intermittent, difficult to reproduce, or related to underlying hardware failures that cannot be fully diagnosed without extended testing or part replacement.

Repair services may require multiple steps or follow-up visits depending on the complexity of the issue and the availability of replacement components. CoreBuilt PCs does not guarantee that all problems can be permanently resolved, particularly when failures involve aging hardware, multiple failing components, or environmental factors.

CoreBuilt PCs is not responsible for data loss under any circumstances. Customers are responsible for backing up important files, software, and personal data prior to service. If a system is not operational and data recovery is required, such services must be discussed separately and may involve third-party providers.

Any recommendations for part replacement or additional services will be communicated to the customer before work proceeds beyond the originally approved scope. Additional charges may apply if further repairs are authorized.

CoreBuilt PCs is not responsible for damage caused by existing liquid cooling leaks, corrosion, or prior improper installation discovered during service.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoreBuilt PCs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of any system, product, or service provided, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, lost profits, downtime, or interruption of operations.

CoreBuilt PCs’ total liability for any claim related to products or services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

CoreBuilt PCs is not responsible for damages resulting from power surges, electrical issues, improper environmental conditions, third-party software, user modifications, or hardware changes made after delivery or service completion.

Payments & Deposits

Payment terms are agreed upon with the customer prior to the start of any build, repair, or service. Refunds, if applicable, are issued based on CoreBuilt PCs’ ability to return purchased components, as outlined in the Pricing & Quotes section above. This includes situations where components have been ordered, picked up, or reserved specifically for a customer’s build.

Final payment is due upon completion of the build or service and prior to delivery, shipment, or pickup unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Systems, components, and repaired equipment will not be released until payment is received in full.

CoreBuilt PCs may offer payment plan arrangements on a case-by-case basis. When approved, a minimum of 25% of the total invoice amount is required up front, and a payment schedule and timeframe will be agreed upon in advance. No components will be ordered and no build work will begin until the initial payment has been received, and no completed system or parts will be delivered until the invoice is paid in full.

Payment plan terms may be adjusted based on individual circumstances; however, CoreBuilt PCs reserves the right to approve or decline any payment arrangement and to determine final payment terms.

If a customer chooses to cancel a project after making one or more payments under a payment plan, 10% of the total invoice amount will be retained as a non-refundable administrative and reservation fee, and the remaining balance of payments made will be refunded to the customer, subject to any additional non-refundable costs related to component procurement as outlined in the Pricing & Quotes section.
